Eri "Peace" Silk Yarn

Single ply, fingering weight Eri silk yarn.  Eri silk is also known as "peace silk", referring to how the fibre is processed.  The fibre length of Eri silk is shorter than other types of silk, such as Mulberry silk, which has that typical "silky" sheen.  With the shorter fibre length, the fibre can be processed after the Eri moth emerges from the silk cocoon, allowing it to continue its lifecycle.
